Kids in the Back has developed a Comprehensive Child Seat Inspection Service, similar to the service formerly provided by the acclaimed BCAA Traffic Safety Foundation Child Passenger Safety Program.

Each child seat inspection at one of our clinics takes approximately 30 minutes to complete and includes:

- Educator support with inspection and, if necessary, re-installation  of child car seat.

- A lesson in harnessing a child for his/her age and stage of development.

- A discussion of crash dynamics to understand how a child car seat functions in the event of a crash.

- A detailed information sheet, available for each age and stage of development, to take home for future reference.

We ask that parents or caregivers arrive with the vehicle owner's manual, child car seat manual and the seat installed to the best of their ability.  Please come with a caregiver for any attending children, as this is a "hands on" inspection service and you will be getting in the back seat!
